Future Plans

The promotion and development of Bield's leading programme of personal and social care will be the Trust's top priority over the next three years. This programme includes:

Widening Horizons ... promoting inclusion for the increasing number of lonely and isolated older people

Befriending ... companionship and support on a one to one basis for an older person who is alone

Social Support ... encouraging sharing and mutual support through a range of social events and activities

Volunteers make an increasingly important contribution. Their skills, experience and commitment bring undoubted added quality to the lives of many older people
